Hamilton - I caught up before, I can catch up again

(Mercedes AMG F1 Team)

Lewis Hamilton insists that he can catch and overhaul Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg at the top of the driver's championship despite being 22 point's behind the German.

Following his retirement from the opening race of the season, Down Under in Melbourne, Australia Hamilton was 25 point's behind Rosberg after the German won the race however the 2008 wold champion went on to win four Grand Prix on the bounce from Malaysia to Spain.

Hamilton has now revealed that he aims to win the next four Grand Prix from Austria to Hungary (where Hamilton won last season).

Despite his two DNF's, which were not his fault, Hamilton remains upbeat as there is still a long way to go in this year's championship. There are still 12 grand Prix to go this season and with double point's awarded for the final race of the year in Abu Dhabi in November there is a maximum of 325 point's available.

This is Formula One where absolutely anything can and always does happen.
