Mark Webber has said that he is delighted with how Daniel Ricciardo has performed since the Australian joined Infiniti Red Bull Racing at the start of the 2014 season. Following his win last weekend, Daniel Ricciardo has moved into third place in the championship behind both Mercedes drivers.
Speaking to NBC's Motorsports Talk Webber, who is getting ready to make his return to the LeMans 24 Hours said:
'To be honest, I've enjoyed the change in chapter in my career, but I've still watched a few races, For Daniel to get his first win was incredible. He hasn't put a wheel wrong. There's been testing regulations, wet qualifyings, and all sorts of stuff that's been thrown at him. But for him to notch up his first win is a big step.'
