Kimi Raikkonen believes that media reports of his struggles at Ferrari since his return to the team at the start of the 2014 season have been completely blown out of proportion and that at the moment the F14T is not quick enough for the Finn's liking.
Raikkonen is currently 12th in the Driver's championship on 17 point's while team mate Fernando Alonso is third.
The Finn accused the media of sometimes reporting untrue stories. He admitted that the team have some issues and that at the moment the car is just not fast enough at this stage in the season. The team have just one podium finish so far in 2014 when Alonso finished the Chinese Grand Prix in third place behind the two Mercedes.
Raikkonen came close to securing his first podium for the team in 2014 last time out in Monaco however he was hit by behind by Marussia's Max Chilton which resulted in the Finn receiving a puncture.
The team are making progress but that it will take time for them to get the results that thy are looking for. When asked whether the team can win a race this season he stated that he was interested in making any predictions as to what will happen at future Grand Prix.
The Finn will take part in his 200th Grand Prix this weekend and has stated that he does not want to just make up the numbers in the sport. He will be hoping to celbrate his 200th Grand Prix with a strong result on Sunday.
