Fernando Alonso has stated that he will make no comment on whether or not he will one day return to Ferrari. The double world champion replaced Kimi Raikkonen at the Italian team for the 2010 Formula One season and in his five season's with the Maranello based outfit he failed to secure the championship despite coming close in 2010, 2012 and last season in 2013.
The Spaniard is set to join McLaren-Honda next season after leaving Ferrari following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last weekend. The Spaniard will be replaced at the Maranello based outfit by quadruple world champion Sebastian Vettel next season who joins Ferrari on a three year contract.
The Spaniard stated that he is NOT difficult to work with any of his former teams as he said that he has been welcomed back to his previous teams with open arms.
Alonso stated that he was at Renault where he won both of his world champions in 2005 and 2006 before moving to McLaren for the 2007 season. The double world champion was with McLaren for just one season where he has a frosty year with team mate Lewis Hamilton before moving back Renault for the 2008 season.
