Caterham have three weeks to find a buyer

(Frederic Le Floch DPPI for Renault Sport F1)

The Caterham F1 Team have three weeks in which to find a new buyer for the team according to administrator Finbarr O'Connell. Speaking in Abu Dhabi, Mr O'Connell stated:

'There has been no strategic thought put into this race at all. This is about money and about drivers who can bring money and about sponsors who can put in money. This was about being here. I just had to make sure the books are balanced.'

Mr O'Connell has also confirmed that they have been contacted by up to fifty potential buyers and that they have narrowed that down to just four serious parties interested in the team. Caterham have brought forty staff members to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as that is the least number of employees that a team can bring to a Grand Prix.
