McLaren's Kevin Magnussen's trainer Antti Vierula has announced that he has left the team. The Finn joined McLaren in 2011 s Lewis Hamilton's trainer and then went on to become Sergio 'Checco' Perez's trainer and held the same role with Kevin Magnussen in 2014 as the Dane made his Formula One race debut with the Woking based outfit.

Vierula made the announcement on his Twitter feed on Sunday saying:

'I want to thank you @McLarenF1 for the past four years with you. It's been a pleasure to be part of this great team and to meet great people!'

The news of Vierula's departure from McLaren comes as the Woking based outfit are reporteldy set to confirm their 2015 Formula One driver line-up on Monday.

Racing Director Eric Boullier confirmed last Thursday prior to the start of the Formula One season finale in Abu Dhabi that the outfit would not make any announcement regarding their driver pairing for 2015 before December 1, this does not necessarily mean that the sport will get an announcement on Monday.
