Rosberg ends Free Practice Three fastest ahead of Lewis Hamilton

Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team's Nico Rosberg lead a Silver Arrows 1-2 in the final free practice session of the season at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi ahead of this afternoon's qualifying session. Rosberg's fastest time was a 1m 41.424s ending up 0.369s ahead of Lewis Hamilton.

Williams Martini Racing Team's Felipe Massa was third fastest for the Grove based team ending the session 1.005s behind the Mercedes duo.

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso finished the session in fourth place despite completing just eight laps in the F14-T as the team opted to change the Spaniard's power unit ahead of qualifying. Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel finished the session in fifth place finishing the session just ahead of McLaren's Jenson Button.

Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo suffered a slight issue with the waste pipe in his RB10 which limited his running. Despite the problem the Australian finished the session in seventh place just ahead of Valtteri Bottas in the Williams.

Daniil Kvyat put in a great session for Toro Rosso as the Russian prepares for his final qualifying session with the Italian team as the Russian finished Free Practice Three in ninth place just ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.

Just outside the top ten was McLaren Mercedes Kevin Magnussen who has stated that he does not see this weekend's race in Abu Dhabi as a shootout between himself and team mate Jenson Button as to who will remain with the Woking based outfit next season. The Dane finished the session just ahead of Jean Eric Vergne in the second Toro Rosso.

Sergio Perez was 13th fastest for the Sahara Force India Formula One Team finishing the session just ahead of team mate Nico Hulkenberg. The pair finished the session just ahead of the Sauber F1 Team's Esteban Gutierrez.

Pastor Maldonado finished the session in 16th place just ahead of team mate Romain Grosjean for the Lotus F1 Team.

Adrian Sutil was 18th in the second Sauber C33. The Caterham F1 Team's Kamui Kobayashi and Will Stevens rounded out the time-sheets for the Leafield based outfit.
