Honda have confirmed today that their new UK engine facility will be completed and ready to move into in June. The Japanese manufacturer will return to the sport in 2015 as an engine supplier with McLaren.

Honda pulled out of F1 at the end of the 2008 season and will supply McLaren exclusively next season, however they have not ruled out supplying more then one team after 2015.

Their new UK engine facility is in Milton Keynes, where current reigning world champions Red Bull Racing are also based.

The company also confirmed today that they are making 'steady progress' with their development of the new engines.

They have recently moved their F1 operation in Japan to Sakura city in Tochigi. It will be interesting to see how they get on with their new engine's as their rivals have had more time to develop their own V6 engine's.
