Sergio Perez led the way for the morning in a row for the Sahara Force India F1 Team. The Mexican, who is the car for the final time before the Australian Grand Prix in two weeks time set the benchmark time of 1m 35.570s just 0.064s ahead the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button was third fastest for McLaren.
The surprise of the morning was the pace set by Marussia's Jules Bianchi who fourth fastest for the Banbury based outfit. The Frenchman finished the morning session just ahead of the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton who took over driving duties from Nico Rosberg today.
Felipe Massa was 6th fastest for the Williams F1 Team while Jean Eric Vergne was the fastest of the Renault powered team's in 7th place in his Toro Rosso albeit 4.1s behind Perez. The Sauber of Esteban Gutierrez was 8th fastest.
It was another difficult morning for reigning world champions Red Bull Racing as Daniel Ricciardo finished the morning session down in 9th place in the RB10 just ahead of the Lotus F1 Team's Pastor Maldonado in the E22.
Caterham's Marcus Ericsson rounded out the timesheets in 11th place.
