The Williams F1 Team have confirmed this morning that Susie Wolff, their test and development driver Susie Wolff will make her Grand Prix test debut at two Grand Prix events this season.
The former DTM driver will take in the First Free Practice session at both the British Grand Prix in Silverstone and will also drive in the following Friday Free Practice session at the German Grand Prix. She is also set to drive the FW36 during one of the four in season testing periods.
This is absolutely fantastic news for Wolff and will be the first female driver to take part in a Grand Prix weekend since Giovanna Amati drove for the Brabham team in 1992.
Wolff joined Williams in 2012 and made her debut for the team in Silverstone last year.
