Magnussen leads the way as the unofficial lunch break gets underway in Bahrain

McLaren's Kevin Magnussen currently leads the way at the Sakhir Circuit in Bahrain as the team's take an unofficial lunch break. The second winter test got underway this morning and for the first time since preseason testing started last month the Lotus F1 Team are in action with Romain Grosjean behind the wheel of the new E22.
 
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso had a small issue this morning but it was of no major concern to the Italian team. Red Bull Racing return to on track on track action after a frustrating start to the preseason period as they only completed 21 lap's in Jerez. However, the Milton Keynes based squad have yet to take to the track today.
 
It is expected that Sebastian Vettel will be in action after 'lunch' when he gets behind the wheel of the RB10.
 
Lewis Hamilton is currently second fastest for Mercedes with Nico Hulkenberg in third place making it an all Mercedes powered 1,2,3. Despite his issue this morning Fernando Alonso is currently in fourth place.
 
Sauber's Adrian Sutil is currently in 5th place after he stopped out on track earlier in the session. Caterham test driver Robin Frijns is currently 6th fastest for the Leafield based team while Romain Grosjean is 7th for Lotus.
 
There has just been action on track this morning as Eric Boullier made his debut public appearance in McLaren colours following his move to Woking from Lotus last month.
