The media need to stop speculating about Michael Schumacher's medical condition. Reports emerged yesterday that doctors treating the German had given up on the waking up process however this is completely untrue.
The media are just trying to create a story hoping that something will happen and they can say 'we were the first to report that this was going to happen'. As media organisations they have a responsibility to report facts and not rumour and speculation.
Schumacher's friend and former Ferrari team mate Felipe Massa visited the German in hospital recently and stated contrary to the media reports things were extremely positive. The Brazilian even said that Schumacher was attempting to communicate with him.
Massa also went on to say that he may not be a doctor but was extremely positive with what he saw when he visited the 7 time world champion.
The media need to wait for OFFICIAL statements from Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm or the medical team treating him.
