Sweden's Marcus Ericsson has stated that he is focusing on remaining in Formula One in 2015. Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ ahead of this weekend's United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas Ericsson stated:
'It's been a difficult week because really, we didn't see this coming.'
Ericsson went on to say that he he had been preparing as he normally does for what was meant to be a normal race weekend. The Swede confirmed that the day before it was announced that the team had entered administration he had been discussing set-up options for practice at the Circuit of the Americas.
Ericsson who is attending the United States Grand Prix has stated that his aim is to remain in Formula One next season with his manager confirming that they are in discussions with three teams in relation to a race seat for 2015.
