Webb - Caterham 'were in a very very difficult position'

Former head of communications at the Caterham F1 Team Tom Webb has told Sky Sport News HQ's Craig Slater that prior to the take over of the team by Colin Kolles and his team the Leafield based outfit:

'Were in a very very difficult position'. 

Webb was speaking just days after his former team went into administration but praised the work done by Kolles and Engavest. 

It was announced last Friday tat the Caterham F1 Team had officially entered administration and that they would miss the next two Grand Prix of the season in Austin Texas this weekend and in Brazil next weekend as the the administrators search for a buyer for the team.

It was announced on Monday that the Marussia F1 Team would also miss the next two Grand Prix as they too also went into administration.

It was reported today by Germany's Auto Motor Und Sport that the Sahara Force India Formula One Team had been on the verge of also missing the United States Grand Prix in Austin this weekend as they had yet to pay Mercedes for their power unit supply. However the paper reports that the situation has now been resolved and the team will be in Austin.
