Caterham F1 Team principal Manfredi Ravetto has confirmed that the Leafield based outfit WILL see out the remaining three race's of the 2014 season before searching for a new team HQ as they seek to move away from their current factory, the former home of the Arrows and Super Aguri Formula One Team's.
The team are working extremely hard behind the scene's to ensure that they can become more competitive and that right now their priority is on improving the performance of the car. Speaking about the situation about their facility in Leafield, Ravetto stated:
'For avoidance of any doubt, I'd also like to add that Leafield remains the team's base, even though it's no secret that we are looking for a more suitable alternative. We look forward to the final three races of the season; we will keep fighting, we will keep improving and we will introduce some positive surprises: stay tuned'.
As I reported prior to the start of the Russian Grand Prix last weekend the team have brought in former Jordan and Sahara Force India Commercial Director Ian Philips to help the team turn things around. Philips played an instrumental part in the Jordan Grand Prix entering Formula One in 1991 and will help move the team forward.
The news that Caterham will see out the season comes as the Marussia F1 Team have stated that they will also see out this season but are unsure of what the future holds beyond this season.
