Todt to determine what action to take against Marussia and Caterham after they are found to be in breach of the regulations

FIA president Jean Todt has stated stated what sanctions will be taken against both the Caterham and Marussia F1 Teams as they have been found to be in breach of the FIA Sporting Regulations for not attending the United States Grand Prix this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas.

Despite the regulation breach the race stewards at the Circuit of the Americas have decided against sanctioning the teams however they have now passed the matter on to FIA president Jean Todt. 

Caterham and Marussia were given special dispensation to miss the United States and Brazilian Grand Prix both races take place within a week of each other.

In the last week both the Caterham and Marussia F1 Team's entered administration with the Marussia F1 Team the more likely outfit to remain on the grid in 2015 as the administrators are currently considering a number of offers for the team.

British-Indian brothers Bajinder Sohi and Sonny Kaushal have put a bid of £55 million to rescue the team.
