McLaren to evaluate 2015 parts as they bring upgrades to the final three race's of 2014

McLaren Mercedes Racing Director Eric Boullier has confirmed that Woking based outfit will bring upgrades to the MP4-29 for the final three Grand Prix of the season starting with the US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas in just under three week's time.

Boullier has revealed that the upgrades will be evaluated and could be used on next seasons MP4-30 which will be powered by Honda power unit as they will be completely applicable to next years car due to the stability in the Formula One regulations for 2015.

Speaking about the update's the Frenchman stated:

'If the performance on our car is good and we can deliver some strong races like in Russia we will see if we can take back another championship position. I would be delighted to,'

McLaren are currently in fifth place in the Constructors championship, 20 points ahead of the Sahara Force India Formula One team and 45 points behind Ferrari with three race's to go including the double points season finale at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 23rd.
