Wolff wants drivers to continue to respect each other

(Mercedes AMG F1 Team)

Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Executive Director of Business Toto Wolff has urged his driver's Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to continue to respect each other on track as Formula One heads into the final three Grand Prix of the season even though the team have now secured this season's Constructors championship following the 1-2 finish at last weekend's Russian Grand Prix in Sochi.

One of the Silver Arrows driver's is on course to win the championship this year and as Formula One heads to Austin, Texas for the next race, Wolff has stated that the team will not change their approach to how they conduct themselves in the final the race's of the year. The Austrian stated:

'I don't think we are going to change something in our approach because we want them to race each other respectfully, We saw that in Russia, it was Nico's corner and he just missed the braking on the dirty line and Lewis was very cold blooded, and that was very good.

So it will not change the approach. We don't want it to end in some kind of circumstance with events on the track.'

Lewis Hamilton currently holds a 92 point advantage over third placed Daniel Ricciardo while he holds a 17 point advantage over Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg.

In order for Daniel Ricciardo to win the championship this season the Australian would have to win the final three Grand Prix of the season with Hamilton finishing in eighth place or lower in each of the race's.
