Haas approaching F1 with trepidation rather then nerves

Gene Haas the founder of the new Haas F1 Team has said he is approaching his Formula One entry in 2016 with some trepidation rather then nerves.

Speaking to Sky Sports F1HD's Martin Brundle in Austin ahead of today's United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas that his new team will not be a Ferrari customer team but that he is looking to buy in as much as he can in terms of materials necessary to run two chassis' in the 2016 FIA Formula One world championship from 2016.

His team will run with a Ferrari power unit and Haas has also confirmed that the team will use a Ferrari transmission gearbox and clutch.

The team are hoping to have both their chassis ready by November 2015 so that they will ready for the first test in February 2016.

Haas is still finalizing the finer details of the team and how it will operate so has confirmed that has not spoken to any drivers in relation to team for 2016 his priority is to lay all the foundations for the team first.
