All out war set to continue at Mercedes this season

(Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team)

The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team will continue their policy of open warfare between their two drivers this season according to their Executive Director (Business) Toto Wolff.

The Brackley based outfit endured a tough end to the season in 2014 as both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg battling for the championship with Hamilton taking his second world championship victory. The team also had to deal with the situation were Nico Rosberg deliberately hit Lewis Hamilton in an on track incident in Belgium.

Wolff described the management of both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg as ‘open and transparent’.

Wolff went on to say that any relationship they all have their ups and their downs but that at the end of the day it is all managed without difficulty.
The reigning world champions go into this weekend’s season opener in Melbourne as the favourites to retain both the drivers and constructors champions with many Formula One pundits tipping Lewis Hamilton to become a three time world champion.
