The Manor Formula One Team have confirmed that their new full 2015 spec car should be ready by the middle of the season.

The outfit who were rescued last week by Northern Irish businessman Stephen Fitzpatrick have prepared a heavily revised 2014 car which it will start the new season with provided it passes the mandatory FIA crash tests.

Although the team have confirmed that they hope to have the 2015 car up and running midway through the season they have not yet specified what race the car will make its first appearance at.

In other Manor related news, Graeme Lowdon will remain with team in his previous role as Sporting Director as well as taking up the position of Team President. Stephen Fitzpatrick is owner and chairman of the board of directors while former Sainsbury’s boss Justin King will sit on the board of the team.

The team have one driver, Will Stevens in place and are working hard to secure a driver for the second car but they will have both cars on the grid for the opening race in Albert Park.
