McLaren Honda’s Fernando Alonso will take centre stage in
tomorrow’s Drivers Press Conference ahead of the Malaysian Grand Prix this
weekend.
The Spaniard will start his first Grand Prix for McLaren
Honda provided he passes a final medical carried out by the FIA medical
delegation on Thursday. The double world champion suffered a concussion during
testing in Barcelona last month.
Speaking about the accident earlier this week, Alonso stated

accident at the Barcelona Circuit De Catalunya.
Alonso will be joined at the press conference by former
Ferrari team mate Kimi Raikkonen. Two of the stars of the opening race will be
at the press conference as the Sauber F1 Team’s Felipe Nasr and Scuderia Toro
Rosso’s Carlos Sainz who both scored points on their Formula One debut in
Australia two weeks ago.
Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s Daniil Kvyat and the Mercedes AMG
PETRONAS F1 Team’s Nico Rosberg complete the driver line up for the press conference.
On Friday, Renault Sport F1’s Cyril Abiteboul and Infiniti
Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner will take centre stage in the Team Principal’s
press conference following the comments made by Mr Abiteboul during the week.
The Lotus F1 Team’s Matthew Carter will also attend the
press conference along with the Sahara Force India Formula One Team’s Robert
Fernley, Pirelli Motorsport Director Paul Hembery and Scuderia Toro Rosso’s
