(Mercedes AMG F1 Team) points
Ferrari team principal Marco Mattiacci has confirmed that he has spoke to Ross Brawn on several occasions however during their discussions they have never spoken about the Englishman returning to Ferrari.
In an interview with CNN at the team factory in Maranello, Mattiacci was asked about the the percentage chance of Brawn returning to Ferrari next season however the Italian said that he is not interested in playing the percentage games.
The Italian also stated that he is looking at the medium and long term for the team's future and that that of course Ross Brawn would be welcomed back to the Italian team IF he wanted to make a return to Formula One.
Brawn retired from Formula One last season when he stood down from the role of team principal at the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and was replaced by Toto Wolff and Paddy Lowe.
He is now spending time catching up with seeing his favourite football team Manchester United play in Old Trafford aswell as spending more time with his family and going fishing while pursuing other projects and interests outside of Formula One.
Brawn played a pivotal role in the Brackley based outfit's current success. The team are on the verge of winning this year's Constructors championship if they take victory this weekend or a 1-2 finish. They will be hoping that Infiniti Red Bull Racing score less then 19 points in Russia this weekend as that would give them this year's championship.
The Brackley based outfit last won the Constructors championship as Brawn GP in 2009, the same year that Jenson Button won the Driver's championship.
