McLaren Racing Director Eric Boullier has said sorry to fans of Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen for the delay in announcing their 2015 driver line up. There are three Grand Prix remaining this season and the Woking based outfit are the only leading team yet to confirm their line up for the 2015 season.

It has long been speculated that Ferrari's Fernando Alonso will return to the team next season when they embark on a new partnership with Honda who they have had great success in the late 1980's. Although there has been a delay Jenson Button has stated that he is happy and enjoying his racing.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ Mr Boullier stated:

'One of the reasons it takes so long, and I apologize to the fans because I know everyone wants to know, but we have to make the right decision to fit the strategy of the team for the next few years.'

Jenson Button has been with the Woking based team since the 2010 season and has won numerous Grand Prix over the season's.

If the team are looking for experience then they should go with Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso as they have three world championships between them and Button has the most recent experience of working with Honda so knows how the company works.

However as they are looking at the long term future of the team should keep their current line-up of Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button for 2015.
