It has been reported that Ferrari and Infiniti Red Bull Racing are set to run three cars in 2015. The news means that third car in the team would not score points next season.

Despite the report Infiniti Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner has said that his team have no intention to run a third car next season.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has poured cold water on the idea of teams running a third car saying:

'At the moment there has been no agreement for a third car.'

The Formula One boss has also stated that it is up to the smaller teams to spend less to ensure their survival and that they will receive no help from CVC.
