Caterham edging closer to financial target

The Caterham F1 Team are edging every closer to raising their target of £2.35 million that will enable them to race in Abu Dhabi next weekend. 

The Leafield based outfit have had their crowd funding project extended until next weekend's race in Abu Dhabi by administrators Smith Williamson. The team now have 81 percent of the money they need to race, 

The current total stands at £1,909,416 with eight days to go until the deadline. It is not yet known who will drive for the team in Abu Dhabi but Finbarr O'Connell has stated that the team will carefully consider who will drive for the in the next few days while Alice Powell has reveled that she is now out of the running for the drive due to not having a Super License.
