Williams Martini Racing Team’s Valtteri Bottas ended the
final morning of winter testing top of the time-sheets with a fastest time of
1m 23.063s on a set of the Pirelli Super Soft tyre ending the morning session
0.406s ahead of Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.
The Finn completed 45 laps. Sebastian Vettel took over
running the SF15-T from Kimi Raikkonen for the final day of testing completing
52 laps this morning with a fastest time of 1m 23.469s.
The Sauber F1 Team’s Felipe Nasr was third fastest for the
Swiss based outfit.
The Brazilian completed 72 laps, ending the morning session
with a time of 1m 24.023s, Nasr ended the session just ahead of the Sahara
Force India F1 Team’s Sergio ‘Checco’ Perez who is behind the wheel of the new
VJM08 for the first time today.
The Mexican set a fastest time of 1m 25.113s completing 54
laps. Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Nico Rosberg was 5th fastest
with a time of 1m 25.186s having completed 69 laps.
Scuderia Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen was 6th
fastest for the Italian team with a fastest time of 1m 26.267s completing 49
laps.
Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo finished the
session in 7th place with a 1m 26.587s. The Australian completed just
10 laps. The Lotus F1 Team’s Pastor Maldonado finished the session in 8th
place having completed 35 laps with a fastest time of 1m 28. 272s.
McLaren Honda’s Jenson Button missed the majority of the
session as the team worked on the car and he has completed just two laps so far
with no time set.
