Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene along
with Test driver Esteban Gutierrez as well as a number of the Maranello based
outfit’s mechanics took to the grandstands in Barcelona on Saturday.
The new Ferrari boss was spotted watching the on track
action alongside Formula One fans who were attending day three of winter
testing at the Barcelona Circuit de Catalunya.
Maurizio confirmed that reason behind it was as protest and
to provoke action as it has been revealed that from the Australian Grand Prix
onwards team’s will be restricted in the number of Paddock passes that they
will be allowed to hand out. The Italian believes that the reduced allocation
is ‘not
acceptable.’

Arrivabene stated that Formula One needs to bring Formula
One to the people similar to the likes of golf as fans of that sport follow the
players around the course. The Italian revealed that he does not want to see
the Paddock empty.
The Italian revealed that he enjoyed meeting the fans in
Spain on Saturday and they were extremely knowledgeable about Formula One.
Arrivabene also revealed that he will do this again during the season. The team
poised for photographs with fans and Arrivabene revealed that he really enjoyed
the experience with the fans.
