Fuel fire ends Hamilton's qualifying in Q1

(Mercedes AMG F1 Team)

Lewis Hamilton's unfortunate qualifying run continued today after a fire ended his Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying in Q1. The fire was caused by an apparent fuel leak. There was an awful lot of damage to his car and it mean that the 2008 world champion may be forced to start the race from the pit-lane. Hamilton also said that he had some sort of brake failure.

Hamilton wasn't the only big name out in Q1 as Kimi Raikkonen also went out and will start the race from 17th place after a strategy error. The Finn was knocked out by Marussia's Jules Bianchi. The Lotus F1 Team's Pastor Maldonado also went out of the session with some sort of mechanical issue.
