The FIA have confirmed this evening that no Formula One team are running the Front and Rear Interconnected (FRIC) suspension system for this weekend's German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring.

Formula One race director Charlie Whiting wrote to each of the teams over the course of the British Grand Prix to question the legality of the new suspension system which was introduced ahead of the start of the 2014 Formula One season.

A number of teams had planned to appeal the ban on the FRIC system but it has now emerged that no team will run the FRIC system this weekend.
