Ricciardo feels he'll be stronger in the second half of the season

Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo believes that he is constantly learning at that his confidence is growing. The Australian joined the reigning world champions over the Winter after Mark Webber left the team to purse a career in the World Endurance Championship with Porsche. It wasn't expected that Ricciardo who match the pace of his team mate Sebastian Vettel but in the opening race of the season in Australia he out-qualified the quadruple world champion.

Ricciardo is currently in third place in the championship on 106 points, 24 points ahead of team mate Sebastian Vettel. Speaking to the Press Association Ricciardo said:

'I'm still very young in my Formula One career, so I still feel I'm picking things up weekend after weekend. Naturally, with the team, I'm going to grow with them more and more, and the relationships with my engineers and the people around me are only going to improve.'

Ricciardo is the only driver other then the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to have a won a Grand Prix this season following his fantastic victory at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal last month.

Ricciardo heads into this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday having continued his points scoring run finishing the race in 6th place and is now 9 points ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Ricciardo will be hoping to carry the momentum into the Summer break.
