Brembo, the company who are one of the brake disc providers to the Mercedes AMG F1 Team have revealed that at present
'There is currently no clear evidence of a single cause of failure.'
Hamilton suffered a Brembo brake disc failure at high speed during qualifying for last weekend's German Grand Prix which resulted in a heavy crash for the 2008 world champion. The incident along with repairs that had to be carried out on his car meant that he had to start the race from 20th place on the grid.
Hamilton did fantastic job to recover and finish the race on the podium in third place after making his way through the field. Brembo are still working on getting to the bottom of what caused the failure.
