Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen felt 'reasonably positive' following an improved performance from his F14-T during today's practice running. During the opening session this morning Raikkonen suffered a water pump problem which as a result meant that Finn lost track time and finished the morning session in 8th place. Speaking to the media following today's on track action Raikkonen said:

'Unfortunately in the morning, because of a technical problem, I had to come back to the garage and was unable to do an additional run on the Soft tyres,'

Raikkonen praised the great work done by his mechanics who got him back out on track extremely quickly. In the afternoon session, Raikkonen made up for the track time he lost during the morning carrying out long runs and finished the session in fourth place behind the two Mercedes and Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo.

Raikkonen was happy as the team improved the car in all areas. Team mate Fernando Alonso ended the session four tenths of a second behind Raikkonen in 9th place. The Spaniard was happy with the performance of the Pirelli tyre's saying:

'I had no problems with either the Super Soft or Soft compounds and we just need to understand how they will behave in the race and what the weather could be like on Sunday,'
