(Mercedes AMG F1 Team)
Lewis Hamilton will start tomorrow's German Grand Prix from the pit-lane his Mercedes team confirmed this evening. The 2008 world champion went out of qualifying in Q1 after he crashed his car going into turn 12 at the stadium complex following a right rear brake disc failure.
Despite the heavy crash Hamilton was set to start the race from 15th place on the grid however it has now been confirmed that he will start from the pit-lane as the team want to change the Britain's break discs from BB to Carbon Industries whch would mean breaking the Parc Ferme seal on his W05 which means Hamilton will start from the pit-lane.
