Rosberg tops Free Practice three in Hockenheim

World championship leader Nico Rosberg set the fastest time in this morning's final practice session ahead of this afternoons qualifying session for tomorrow's German Grand Prix. Rosberg set the fastest time of 1m 17.779s 0.601s ahead of team mate Lewis Hamilton who was in second place. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was best of rest in third place behind the two Mercedes cars/ The Spaniard ended the session 0.604s behind Nico Rosberg.

The Williams Martini duo of Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas were fourth and fifth respectively while McLaren's Kevin Magnussen finished the session in 6th place. 

Infiniti Red Bull Racing's in Free Practice two yesterday ended the reigning world champions while Kimi Raikkonen who was fourth fastest in second practice yesterday ended this morning's session in 8th place. Sebastian Vettel was ninth fastest in the second Red Bull finishing the session 1.111s behind pace setter Nico Rosberg.

Sahara Force India's Nco Hulkenberg rounded out the top ten for the Silverstone based outfit finishing the session just ahead of the Toro Rosso duo of Daniil Kvyat and Jean Eric Vergne. Jenso Button, who really likes the circuit in Hockenheim finished the session down in 13th place for McLaren. 

Sergio Perez was 14th fastest in the second Force India, 1.691s behind Nico Rosberg while Esteban Gutierrez was 15th fastest in the first of the Sauber F1 Team C33 cars. Romian Grosjean was 16th fastest for the Lotus F1 Team finishing the session just ahead of the Marussia F1 Team's Jules Bianchi who ended the session 2.419s behind Rosberg.

Pastor Maldonado was 18th fastest in the second Lotus just ahead of Adrian Sutil in the second Sauber. Kaumui Kobayashi was 20th for the Caterham F1 Team. The Japanese driver suffered a suspected hydraulic problem which means its a matter of waiting to see if they can get the caar ready for the qualifying.

Marcus Ericsson was 21st in the second Caterham while Max Chilton rounded out the time-sheets in 22nd place.
