Team's drop FRIC suspension for this weekend's German Grand Prix

A number of Formula One team's have confirmed that have removed the Front and Rear Interconnected suspension system from their cars ahead of this weekend's German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring. At the British Grand Prix in Silverstone two week's ago race director Charlie Whiting wrote to the team's to say that the FIA have called into question the legality of the new system.

Speaking to Sky Sports F1's Ted Kravitz ahead of the German Grand Prix Mercedes Lewis Hamilton revealed that his team did not run the FRIC system during the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, a race which the 2008 world champion won so he does not expect the situation to cause his team any problem's this weekend.

Williams Martini Racing's test and development driver Susie Wolff also said that she dos not believe that the removal of the system this weekend will have an adverse affect on her teams performance this weekend as the team showed in Silverstone that they were the second fastest team behind the Mercedes AMG F1 Team in Silverstone.

McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull and Williams have all confirmed that they will not run the system this weekend.
