Sahara Force India set to retain drivers

The Sahara Force India Formula One Team look set to retain both their drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez into 2015 according to team boss and managing director Dr Vijay Mallya. Speaking to the media iat the Hungarian Grand Prix Mallya said:

'We have options on both and I’m very happy with both of them and I see no reason why we should be looking at any change.'

At the Hungarian Grand Prix at the weekend the Silverstone based outfit suffered their first double retirement of the 2014 season. 

Sergio 'Checco' Perez who joined the team from McLaren over the Winter scored the Silverstone based squads first podium since 2009 when he finished in third place behind the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. 

The Sahara Force India F1 Team are currently in 5th place in the Constructors championship on 98 point's just one ahead of the McLaren Mercedes team. 

The team along with the rest of Formula One head to the Belgian Grand Prix following the summer break having scored their first ever F1 podium at the circuit when Giancarlo Fisichella finished in second place just behind race winner Kimi Raikkonen. The team will be hoping for  similar result this season.
