Equipment auction may be cancelled due to 'fast moving developments'

Following the news on Wednesday that the Sheriffs office had seized equipment from the Caterham F1 Team at their Leafield factory and that the contents would be auctioned off it has now emerged that the auction may now not take place as a result of what have been described by bailiffs as 'fast moving developments'.

It has also emerged that the seizure on Wednesday had nothing to do with the new owners of the Caterham F1 Team but it taken against Caterham Sports Limited.

When asked about the current situation within the team both Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson had no comment and that they were waiting to speak to Caterham team principal Mandredi Ravetto who will arrive at the Suzuka circuit on Friday.

The race team were busy preparing the garage's in the Suzuka pit-lane on Thursday and have said that it is 'business as usual' this weekend.
