Marcus Ericsson has confirmed that he has cut all ties with the Caterham F1 Team with immediate effect.
The Leafield based outfit went into administration last month and have undertaken a crowd funding scheme to raise the £2.35 million necessary for them to race in the season finale in Abu Dhabi next weekend.
Alice Powell has emerged as a possible replacement for Ericsson who will join the Sauber F1 Team next season.
