Kimi Raikkonen believes that next weekend's open race of the 2014 Formula One season in Melbourne will be wide open.

The Finn returns to Ferrari for the first time since 2009 and will partner Fernando Alonso. Raikkonen who was in Maranello this week to carry out simulator work, believes the new F14-T is a quick car however he says that only the track will them who is the fastest team. Raikkonen is refusing to make any predictions about next weekend's race in Australia.

The Iceman has won in Australia twice, his first win came with Ferrari in 2007, which was his very first race for the team when he took pole and the win, he went on to win the championship that year.

He is the most recent winner in Melbourne when he took a surprising win for the Lotus F1 Team and he feels that when comparing those two victories he feels that last years win was the nicest because it was unexpected.

Ferrari go into the first race in Melbourne off the back of a strong pre-season programme despite encountering a number of technical issues. However, the majority of the team's have experienced similar issues.
