McLaren Mercedes have released an image of a special one of livery featuring their oil supplier Mobil 1. The livery will be used for this weekend's opening Grand Prix of the season in Melbourne. Exxon Mobil began their partnership with McLaren in 1995, the same year the team joined forces with Mercedes.
In a statement McLaren COO Jonathan Neale said 'We are privileged to have worked closely with Exxon Mobil.
The two company's have been together for 332 races and in that space of time they have won four world championship's, 3 Driver's titles and 1 Constructors crown. This season they celebrate 20 years together.
Artis Brown, Mobil 1's Global Motorsports manager commented: 'We are proud to celebrate are relationship with McLaren this weekend and are looking forward to an exciting season'.
Brown also welcomed Kevin Magnussen to the team and he believes that the introduction of the new 1.6 litre V6 turbocharged engine's will make for an exciting weekend in Melbourne.
