Michael Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm has issued a statement regarding the seven times Formula One world champions condition following his skiing accident at the end of December. In recent days there have been reports in the British media suggesting 'Schuey Needs A Miracle'
In the statement Kehm said: 'We are and remain confident Michael will pull through and wake up'
'There are small, encouraging, signs but we also know that this is the time to be very patient'
'Michael has suffered severe injuries. It is very hard to comprehend for all of us that Michael, who had overcome a lot of precarious situations in the past, has been hurt so terribly in such a banal situation'.
Kehm went on to say that it is heart warming to see how much sympathy the family has been shown. She also said that the media needs to respect the privacy of the family as Schumacher has always kept his family out of the spotlight.
