Red Bull will not ditch the RB10

(Bernard Asset - Renault Sport F1)

Red Bull Racing have denied speculation that they will scrap their new RB10. During winter testing, reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel could only manage to complete a total of 155 laps. The team have endured severe reliability problems with the new car so much so that the F1 'silly season' started in Bahrain last week when Sebastian Vettel was asked to comment on rumours that he was about to jump ship to Ferrari for this season.

Vettel responded to the assembled media by saying that he was not one to switch horses at the slightest sign of trouble. His boss Christian Horner also commented by saying he doesn't know where the speculation comes from.

Red Bull have dominated Formula One for the past four years and as it stands the team have an awful lot of work to do to catch up with their rivals however the Milton Keynes based team will fit the RB10 with a major upgrade package for next weekend's Australian Grand Prix.

When it is out on track the RB10 is a very quick car however it would certainly appear to be a very fragile car however they are an extremely resourceful team and if any team can come back from a tough start to a season Red Bull can and it would be a massive mistake to write off the team at the stage in the year.
