The BBC have confirmed that form F1 driver Mark Webber has joined their line up for the 2014 season. After 12 season's in Formula One the Australian called time on his career at the end of last season and has joined Porsche in the World Endurance Championship. He will make his debut for the German manufacturer at Silverstone in April.
Webber will be working with Channel 10 as a commentator for next weekend's Australian Grand Prix and make films for BBC F1 giving his opinion on how the 2014 season is going.
The BBC have also confirmed that Suzi Perry will once again lead their television line-up and will be joined by expert analyst's David Coulthard, Eddie Jordan and Allan McNish (who joins the national broadcaster from Sky Sports F1HD)
The BBC also confirmed that Lee McKenzie and Tom Clarkson will once again share the pit-lane reporting duties.
The corporation will show nine races live this season and will show the remaining Grand Prix as an extended highlights package. Their first live race will be the Malaysian Grand Prix which is the second round of the season on March 30.
