Following the news yesterday that Mark Webber will join BBC F1 to film some features for the 2014 season. It was Sky F1's turn this morning as they confirmed that they have added former F1 driver Bruno Senna to their line-up. Senna, the nephew of the legendary triple world champion Ayrton Senna raced in Formula One from 2010-2012. He had spells with the Hispania Racing Team. The Williams F1 Team and the Lotus F1 Team.
Since leaving Formula One, Senna has been racing in the Worls Wnsurance Championship. As part of his new role with Sky F1 Bruno will be involved in a special programme that they channel will air about his uncle as it is 20 years this year since Ayrton was killed in a crash at the San Marino Grand Prix.
Bruno will work alongside side David Croft in the commentary box during Friday Practice sessions in seven races. He will attend Malaysia, China, Hungary, Singapore, the new race in Russia, USA and his home Grand Prix in Brazil.
He will also do a number of features on the Sky Pad. Sky F1 producer Martin Turner said he is delighted to add Bruno to the Sky F1 line-up. Bruno Senna said that he is delighted to be joining the Sky F1.
