The Ferrari Formula One have confirmed that they will wait to make a decision on whether or not Kimi Raikkonen will drive at next weeks two day in season test at the Silverstone after the Finn suffered a horrendous 47G crash on the second lap of today's British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Speaking following the Finn's crash, Ferrari team boss Marco Mattiacci said:
'We checked several times and we will take a decision about the test, and what to do with the test, so we see after today.'
Raikkonen had been scheduled to drive the F14-T on Tuesday with Dela Rosa driving on Wednesday but if he is unable to drive then Dela Rosa will be available to drive the car on both day's.
Mattiacci went on to say:
'I want to be 100 per cent sure that he will be fine before [he does it]. But there is no major issue at the moment.'
Mattiacci ruled out any mechanical issue with the car. The Italian said:
'I think that there was some kind of issue getting off the track, coming back and finding some bump. he concluded by saying:
'That was the issue.'
