Ferrari have confirmed that Kimi Raikkonen's crash on the second lap of today's British Grand Prix in Silverstone was an incredible 47G force.
The Finn escaped serious injury and just suffered some bruising but is expected to race in Germany in two weeks time. Raikkonen was due to test for the team during the two day in season test in Silverstone next Tuesday and Wednesday but it is now expected that the teams Spanish test driver Pedro Dela Rosa will drive the F14-T on the two day's.
As a result of the race today Raikkonen remains in 12th place in the Drivers championship and will be hoping for a better result next time out in Germany. It was Raikkonen's first retirement of the season.
