The Lotus F1 Team took to their official Twitter feed this
morning to confirm that their 2015 chassis, the E23 has passed the FIA chassis
homologation test.
The Enstone based outfit will join fellow Formula One rivals,
the Sahara Force India Formula One Team and the Williams Martini Racing Team as
a Mercedes customer this season having signed a long term contract with the
German manufacturer having previously been supplied by Renault.
Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado will get their first
opportunity to drive a Mercedes powered car when they return from the Formula
One winter break in two weeks’ time at the Jerez circuit in Spain.
