Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team driver Nico Rosberg believes that fellow German Sebastian Vettel, who swaps the Infiniti Red Bull Racing blue for Scuderia Ferrari red this season will struggle this season as the he believes that Ferrari will not have made massive gains over the winter.

Speaking to Germany’s Bild newspaper that he cannot see Ferrari challenging Mercedes in 2015 due to their poor results in 2014.

The Italian outfit failed to win a Grand Prix last season for the time since 1993. The Maranello based outfit were only able to record two podium finishes and after five years Fernando Alonso has moved on to McLaren-Honda replacing Kevin Magnussen.

Rosberg finished in second place in the championship last season 67 points behind team mate and world champion Lewis Hamilton.

The German believes that Sebastian Vettel will see a lot of his Mercedes W06 ahead of him on track this season. Rosberg also believes that this year’s championship will once again be between himself and Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team mate Lewis Hamilton.

Rosberg has stated that it is now ‘full attack’ for the 2015 Formula One season following his championship defeat.
