Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Nico Rosberg will come back stronger this season, that’s the claim of former Formula One driver and 13 time race winner David Coulthard.

Speaking at the Autosport International Show on Saturday, the former Williams, McLaren and Red Bull driver believes that Rosberg learnt a lot in 2014 driving a competitive car. The W05 powered the Brackley based outfit to both the Drivers and Constructors champion titles.

Despite missing out on the championship to team mate Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg won the pole position trophy for taking the most number of pole positions during the year.

The German took five victories in 2015 and finished the year 67 points behind Hamilton. Despite the fact that he feels that Rosberg will be stronger this season, the momentum is with Hamilton who secured his second world championship while Rosberg is in search of his very Formula One title.

Mercedes are expected to be extremely competitive this season with the Williams Martini Racing Team expected to be very strong.
